Title: Quantum links between quantum computers

In this talk I will discuss the transfer of quantum information and the realistic implementation of deterministic remote quantum gates between quantum computers connected by microwave links [1]. The talk will be strongly focused on the superconducting architecture in place at ETH, with refrigerators connected by 30m commercial microwave guides [2], but many of the results and ideas can be transported to other bosonic channels, such as shorter links (0.5-5m), photonic crystals or optomechanical bridges with more severe bandwidth constraints.
