Yanliu Li joins the group as a PhD student

We are happy to welcome Yanliu as a new PhD student in the group. Yanliu joined the team on May 7th and will work towards macroscopic quantum superpositions within the Q-Xtreme ERC Synergy Grant.

Yanliu studied math and physics at Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, and obtained her bachelor degree in 2021. Then she obtained her master degree in physics from ENS Paris. She has previously worked in the group of Prof. Anotonio Acin at ICFO on quantum thermodynamics. She has also worked a bit on circuit QED with Prof. Alexandru Petrescu in Inria. Her research interests lie on the intersection between fundamental physics, information theory, and quantum experiments. She also enjoys reading, swimming, and Italian cuisine during her free time.
